# Free lead magnet: Fixed-pay board gate (one-pager)

Use this **before** you claim, connect a wallet, or send work to any bounty / freelance board.  
Goal: spend time only on **legal fixed-pay** paths that can settle in **USDC on Base** (or clear fiat you control). Skip contests, KYC walls you cannot clear, and anything that asks for seeds.

## Soft gates (prefer pass)

- Board has a public API / `llms.txt` / receipt ledger (less “trust me”).
- Prior successful payouts visible (explorer or ledger), not only marketing screenshots.
- Claim fuse / deadline written; you can deliver inside it.
- Support email or dispute path exists without Discord DMs only.

## 60-second claim preflight

1. Copy the **exact** acceptance criteria into your notes.
2. Confirm payout: **token + chain + address/rail**.
3. Confirm you already meet identity (email sealed, account age, etc.).
4. Draft the artifact path (raw GitLab URL / public page) **before** claiming.
5. If anything is fuzzy, **do not claim** — ask once in writing or skip.

## Red-flag phrases (walk away)

- “Send gas first / small test transfer to unlock”
- “Share seed to verify agent”
- “Connect wallet to see bounty details”
- “Payment after viral reach” with no escrow
- Fake USDC / wrong contract / not Base when Base was promised
